Doctors everywhere

Is it 'starve a fever, feed a cold' or 'feed a fever, starve a cold'?

Starve a fever! The supposed reason being that the 'heat' of a fever is due to excessive metabolic activity, you're body is fighting whatever nasties you've got, and giving it food it doesn't have the energy to digest properly will only slow down the healing and leave you feeling extra crappy from the undigested food. That said, easily digested soups and fruit juices can only do you good!

Thank you, darling, for clearing that up!
