Bachelorette Partee-eek!

It's been a long time since I've joined in on some bachelorette party fun; and when I did, it was not in the sense you probably imagine. Known amongst my friends as a bit of a prude, I giggle like a school girl and hide my face when thrown in the bachelorette party mix.

Yowza.

It could be that I have an old soul that is traditional in nature or it could be that I'm still a child at heart; but, with an invite that arrived in my life about a week ago, I have one week to get up to speed on what to expect and most importantly calm my blushing nature!

Oh Tif, how we have so much in common... this is my 3rd bachelorette party and thankfully, I think it's going to be a tame one!

Is it acceptable to admit I loathe those things? Why on earth would we want to embarrass a girl before her big day? Thankfully, as the bride I was able to turn it into a lunch/spa situation. I just always found the typical bachelorette parties to be... how do I say it? Oh... I'll go with tacky & low class. That pretty much sums it up. LOL. Does that make me a prude, too? If so I'm totally okay with that label.

Bring me a massage, a mani/pedi and a fancy luncheon any day. But you can keep the naked dancers & raunchy toys for someone else. ha!

Good luck, sweetie!

I am getting married this fall and have opted to have a spa & martini-bachelorette party with a small group of girls. No male strippers. That is what my twenties were for.
